INTRODUCING THE

PERMIAN RIFT

AVAILABLE: 27TH NOV, 11AM EST TIME

The Permian Rift is Beaufort’s new stone dial micro-rotor collection, built around the idea of carrying a piece of geology on the wrist without losing everyday wearability. The case keeps classic proportions with a sharper, more architectural profile so it feels refined on the cuff yet still purposeful in daily use.

Each dial is cut from natural stone, thinned to watch dial thickness and reinforced on a metal base so it can handle real world wear. No two patterns repeat. The depth, grain and character shift with the light, which gives every watch its own presence.

Kept at a versatile 38mm diameter, Permian Rift is designed as a dress-leaning daily watch with more soul than a flat dial can offer.

BLUE JASPER

Blue Jasper is an opaque jasper, a microcrystalline quartz. It forms as silica rich fluids fill voids in volcanic or sedimentary rock, solidifying slowly, often hydrothermally. Blue tones come from trace inclusions. Used since antiquity.

SNOWFLAKE OBSIDIAN

Snowflake Obsidian is natural volcanic glass made when silica-rich lava cools fast, leaving no crystals. Later, devitrification grows white cristobalite spherulites that create the snowflake pattern. Obsidian tools and jewellery date back to prehistory.

GARNET

Garnet refers to a group of silicate minerals, often red. Most form in metamorphic rocks as aluminium sediments recrystallize under heat and pressure during mountain building. Valued since the Bronze Age for gems and abrasives.
